The ASZH4 electric heat pump is built into a heavy-gauge galvanized steel enclosure with a wire fan discharge grille, steel louver coil guard, and rust-resistance screws. A powder paint finish is baked-on for maximum protection against the elements. In addition to a compact footprint, the enclosure provides convenient top and side panel access for maintenance and single-panel access to controls; there’s also space to accommodate field-installed accessories. Bracket kits are available for anchoring the heat pump per the 2010 Florida Building Code.
Factory-installed components include a heater band and suction line accumulator to ensure reliable refrigerant distribution in extreme temperatures. An inline filter drier protects against dirt and moisture. The unit also has a sound control blanket and high-capacity muffler for quiet operation. It is optimized for efficient cooling with copper tubing and an aluminum fin condenser coil that uses R-410A refrigerant for maximum heat transfer. The ASZH4 has a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) of 15 so the investment can lower HVAC system operating costs.
